How it all started

The dream of White Buffalo Thriftery started in Katie's mind long ago. The idea was to create a space filled with specifically curated items which reflected her own style and flare. It was game on when Katie and Jose met in December 2021. With his business knowledge, creativity, and drive, Jose caught onto the vision immediately and started the ball rolling. In March 2022 White Buffalo Thriftery opened its doors, and has since become a beloved eclectic addition to downtown La Crosse, WI.

Here at White Buffalo Thriftery We love to thrift too. Katie loves the thrill of the hunt when it comes to fun decor and vintage finds. How does she not keep it all for herself? Well, part of that thrill is getting to see someone else appreciate an item as much as she did when she found it.
"It's like saying goodbye to a friend. I feel good about the time we had, but it's okay to let it go to a new home".

Such a unique exciting store! Give you lots of interior design inspo for when you aren't sure how decorate. I often go in here as I would Target- not looking for anything in specific but leaving with lots. Doesn't hurt the bank though. Also Katie, the owner, is the best.
